Girls Soccer 3A Districts: Marysville Pilchuck 2, Shorewood 0

MARYSVILLE -- Melissa Schuetze had a shutout to get the Tomahawks the win in the 3A District 1 tournament. Amanda Klep scored for Marysville Pilchuck early in the game off an assist from Mackinzie Nolte, then Nolte knocked one in with 2 minutes left off an assist from Klep for the 2-0 victory. The Tomahawks move on to play Stanwood in hopes of eventually securing third place in the tournament and moving on to state. The loss ended Shorewood's season.

Goals--Amanda Klep (MP), Mackinzie Nolte (MP). Assists--Nolte, Klep. Goalkeepers--Shorewood: not reported. Marysville Pilchuck: Melissa Schuetze. Records--Shorewood 6-8-4 overall. Marysville Pilchuck 8-9-1.
