Everett: 37th annual Harvest Bazaar Friday
More than 50 vendors are expected Friday at the 37th annual Harvest Bazaar at the Carl Gipson Senior Center.
The event featuring holiday gifts, homemade crafts and treats is planned from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The senior center is on 3025 Lombard Ave.

Money in politics is presentation topic
People have an opportunity to hear a discussion about strategies to curtail the amount of money spent in political campaigns.
The League of Women Voters of Snohomish County and the American Association of University Women are sponsoring a free, community forum at 7 p.m. Nov. 8 in the commissioners room, Snohomish County PUD, 2320 California St., Everett.
Ken Dammand of Washington Public Campaigns and Steven Horn of the political science faculty at Everett Community College are featured speakers.
Marysville: Exercise with a kettlebell
Marysville Parks and Recreation is offering beginner and intermediate kettlebell workout classes.
A kettlebell is a round weight with a handle at the top. The 30-minute classes include cardio and are held at 6:30, 7 and 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays through November. The class costs $42 and is at Totem Middle School, 1605 7th St.

Mill Creek: Bingo planned next month
Mill Creek Parks & Recreation staff and the Youth Advisory Board members will host a Bingo Night at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, in the cafeteria at Heatherwood Middle School, 1419 Trillium Blvd.
Cost is $2 per person plus a canned food donation and it gets you nine game cards, enough to play one card for each game that night. Canned food items will be donated to the new Mill Creek Food Bank.
Extra game cards are available for purchase at the door ($1 buys three game cards). Treat your family to dinner -- a pizza slice and beverage will be sold for $2 per person. There will be a lot of prizes! Remember to bring your own crayon or marker for Bingo cards. If you have any questions, please contact the Mill Creek Parks & Recreation Department at 425-745-1891.
Monroe: District 3 fire budget meeting
Snohomish County Fire District 3 in Monroe plans a public meeting regarding next year's budget at 7 p.m. Nov. 13 at 163 Village Court, Monroe.
The day of the regularly scheduled fire commissioners meeting was moved because of the Veterans Day holiday.
Stanwood: Artists asked to submit work for bird festival
Regional artists are invited to submit original artwork featuring birds to the eighth annual Port Susan Snow Goose and Birding Festival's fine art show and sale. Submissions should be delivered from 1 to 4 p.m. Nov. 8 at Four Springs House and Lake Preserve, 858 Lewis Lane, Camano Island.
