Seahawks DT Jason Jones, WR Braylon Edwards ruled out; WR Baldwin probable

Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin, who missed last week’s game with a high-ankle sprain and was said on Monday to be a long shot by Pete Carroll to make it back this week, is listed as probable and as Carroll told reporters Friday, “Looks ready to go.” That’s a rather rapid comeback from a usually serious leg injury, and that’s also good news for the Seahawks who are thin at receiver. Braylon Edwards, who was a game-day scratch last week with swelling in his knee, will miss a second straight game, and the Seahawks already placed Ben Obomanu on injured reserve earlier this week with a wrist injury.

Defensive tackle Jason Jones will also miss a second straight game with an ankle injury. Most notable on the Vikings’ injury report is that former Seahawks TE John Carlson has been ruled out with a concussion.
