Seahawks G James Carpenter ruled out with concussion
The Seahawks announced Saturday that left guard James Carpenter has been ruled out of Sunday's game with a concussion. Carpenter, who returned from a knee injury four weeks into the season and has started five games, was on Friday's practice report, listed as limited with an illness. The team did not give any other details on how or when he concussion occurred.
The good news for the Seahawks is that right guard John Moffitt is expected to be available this week after missing five games with a knee injury. Paul McQuistan, who has been starting at right guard since Carpenter returned, started the first three games at left guard, and could end up back there with Moffitt or J.R. Sweezy starting at right guard.
