Edmonds-Woodway area voters returning ballots at highest rate in Snohomish County
Voters in the Edmonds-Woodway area are returning their ballots at a faster rate than any other part of Snohomish County.
The Snohomish County part of the 7th Congressional District including Edmonds, Woodway and nearby unincorporated areas, had a ballot-return rate of 45.06 percent through Thursday, compared to a countywide rate of 39.74 percent.
The Snohomish County part of the 1st Legislative District, which includes most of Mountlake Terrace, all of Brier, the Snohomish County part of Bothell and unincorporated areas north and east of Bothell had a return rate of 39.96 percent. The King County part of the district, including the King County part of Bothell, part of Kirkland and unincorporated areas between Bothell and Kirkland, has a return rate of 39.06 percent. The district has an expensive, hard-fought state senate race.
The 21st Legislative District, including most of Edmonds, all of Mukilteo and part of south Everett, has a return rate of 40.35 percent. The Snohomish County part of the 32nd Legislative District -- Lynnwood, part of Mountlake Terrace, south Edmonds, Woodway and nearby unincorporated areas -- had a return rate of 39.83 percent. The King County part of the district, including Shoreline and part of northwest Seattle, has a return rate of 39.16 percent.
