MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — Police are asking for help finding a suspect in a robbery reported along the Interurban Trail in Mountlake Terrace.
It happened just before 2:30 p.m. Tuesday along the trail, just north of 220th Street SW.
The victim, 35, told police he was walking the trail when he was approached from behind and struck on the head with a hard, pointed object, Mountlake Terrace police Cmdr. Doug Hansen said. The victim told police he then was pushed and woke up on the trail with a bump on his head. His money was missing and his belongings were strewn about.
He walked to a nearby hospital and called 911.
The suspect was described as an older man with a raspy voice.
