Everett vs. Red Deer: lineup notes

EVERETT

Forward lines:
Harrison-Bauml-Lofthouse
Leedahl-Petryk-Sandhu
Stadnyk-Mappin-Oslanski
Soumelidis-Bruce-Grayson

Defensive pairings:
Murray-Mueller
MacDonald-Cox
Walters-Betker

Starting goalie:
Cotton

Scratches: Hayer, Winquist, Foulk, Adam.

Notes: Everett continues to play without its top two scoring forwards as winger Joshua Winquist (mononucleosis) misses his eighth straight game and center Manraj Hayer (upper body) sits out his fifth straight. Defenseman Austin Adam (hand) also is out injured. With a shortage up front and a glut on defense, the Tips use d-man Landon Oslanski as a winger for the second time in three games. Call-up center Brandon Bruce plays for the first time in front of the home crowd. Goalie Daniel Cotton gets his second straight start after Austin Lotz started the previous five.

RED DEER

Forward lines:
Elson-Hamilton-Johnson
Ness-Bleackley-Inglis
Millette-Maxwell-Bellerive
Thiel-McCoy-Stockl

Defensive pairings:
Gaudet-Dumba
Fleury-Underwood
Boomaarden-Pochuk

Starting goalie:
Bartosak

Scratches: Fafard, Bittner, Doetzel, Miller, Ferguson.

Notes: Red Deer, playing the fourth game of its five-game trip through the Western Conference, is without defenseman Kayle Doetzel because of an upper-body injury. The Rebels are otherwise at full strength.
