Locker expected to start for Titans on Sunday

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee coach Mike Munchak said quarterback Jake Locker will start against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday barring any setbacks.

Locker, a former University of Washington standout, worked with the starters on Wednesday, and Munchak said the Titans will see how he responds to practicing with the first-team offense. Matt Hasselbeck also took snaps during Wednesday's practice.

Locker has missed five straight games after injuring his left, non-throwing shoulder Sept. 30 against Houston. He had been practicing with the scout team. Munchak says Locker will have to be honest with how he feels now that doctors have said the quarterback's shoulder has healed as much as it can.

The second-year quarterback will have to quickly shake off any rust if he plays; Munchak says the Titans (3-6) need to beat Miami (4-4).
