Reader poll: depth up front


The Silvertips are currently carrying 12 forwards on their roster. That's the number teams normally dress for games, meaning there are no spares. Everett has had injuries up front lately, so the team has been short during games. To fill the gap the Tips have played defensemen at forward, they brought in a junior A player to fill in for a few games, and had a 16-year-old prospect play in another.

Everett is hoping to get healthier during the current six-day break. However, even at full strength the Tips are just scraping by up front. The Tips could deal for a forward. That would help alleviate the depth issues up front. However, it would also require surrendering an asset, and I'm not sure that's what Everett wants to do this season. So:
