KIRO 7 to reveal new leads in 1991 Lynnwood robbery

For nearly 22 years, a fatal armed robbery of a Loomis armored car in Lynnwood has gone unsolved.

The attack on Feb. 19, 1991, left one guard dead and another seriously injured.

Our news partners at KIRO 7 TV have been digging into the case in recent months, led by investigative reporter Chris Halsne.

They’ve also interviewed the surviving victim, Jeffery Pease, at length.

They shared their findings with Lynnwood police detectives. The special investigative report is set to start airing at 5 p.m. Monday.
