Pain and grief unfathomable
I look at the grieving father on trial and ask will our community be better off by putting this man in prison? Will one more horrific criminal be off our streets then? No, a family that is still in unfathomable grief and must live with that grief every day and is obviously being held together by family, love and faith is being pursued by a seemingly ambitious legal team. To pursue a criminal sentence where no intentional act was committed is a waste of time and our tax money. I thought we were way beyond an eye for eye, a tooth for a tooth. If there is any one so worthy, so free of human error, who of us will then cast the first stone?
