Get ready for gross.

The arrest of an alleged flasher out of Lynnwood last week led to a bluntly worded police report. A concerned mother called the incident in, but arriving police also saw for themselves, according to a probable cause affidavit filed Thursday by Lynnwood police.

The Lynnwood man, 34, was booked into Snohomish County Jail for investigation of possessing a controlled substance (1.1 grams of heroin), disorderly conduct and misdemeanor indecent exposure. He also had a warrant for his arrest for making a false statement.

The incident was reported just before 2 p.m. Thursday in the 17300 block of 44th Avenue W.

Here's a blurb from the affidavit, identifying details removed:

(Victim) was traveling SB on 44th Ave W and as she approached (the suspect) she observed him with his penis in his hand and was twirling it around at passing cars. (Victim) said she was appalled and offended by his actions and was worried her children would see him.

The man reportedly was doing the same thing, but blocking traffic, when police arrived on scene.

Under state law, indecent exposure can be a felony or a misdemeanor, depending on the circumstances.
