Arlington: Movie theater group meets
The Save the Olympic Theatre committee plans to meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the Local Scoop restaurant, 434 N. Olympic Ave.
The committee is looking at funding options to keep the movie theater going.

Lake Stevens: Annual Dickens Fair scheduled
The Lake Stevens School District’s Community Education program plans to host the 26th annual Dickens Fair on Dec. 1 at Cavelero Mid High School.
Admission to the fair, set from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., is a can of food or monetary donation for the Lake Stevens Food Bank.
Vendors dressed in Dickens-era clothes are scheduled to sell their handcrafted wares while children perform and sing carols during the event.
Cavelero Mid High’s student store will also be open on the upper level of the school.
All proceeds support a volunteer recognition evening in May.

Snohomish: High school to perform ‘White Christmas’
The Snohomish High School Drama Department is showing “White Christmas, The Musical” starting Nov. 30.
Other shows are scheduled for Dec. 1, 7, 8, 14 and 15. All shows are at 7 p.m. Snohomish High School Performing Arts Center, 1316 Fifth St.
General admission is $15. Military can see the Dec. 1 show for free.
Snohomish County: Members needed for board
Snohomish County is seeking candidates to fill a vacancy on the Sno-Isle Libraries Board of Trustees.
Library Board Trustees are responsible for setting policy, budget and overall direction for the two-county library district.
To be qualified, an individual must live in Snohomish County. Residents of Everett and Woodway are not eligible.
