Jackson’s Allen, MacDonald earn All-America honors

Jackson volleyball teammates Emmy Allen and Haley MacDonald were both honored by the American Volleyball Coaches Association on Monday. Timberwolves outside hitter Allen is one of only 24 players named to the AVCA Under Armour Girls High School All-America first team.

Haley MacDonald, a setter, is an honorable mention.

Both Allen and MacDonald signed to play for Washington State University next fall.

Allen and MacDonald were crucial to the Timberwolves’ success over the past three seasons as they won the Class 4A title in 2010, finished fourth last year and placed third this past weekend.
