Kids can keep busy this week at Sno-Isle libraries

It's a holiday week when parents are busy and kids have more time on their hands. The Sno-Isle Libraries have some free events to solve that problem:

Monday

Marysville Library: "The Lorax" begins at 3:30 p.m. Teens can snack on free popcorn and drinks, too. Call 360-658-5000 for more information.

Monroe Library: "The Amazing Spider-Man" from 3 to 5 p.m. Teens will scarf up snacks and maybe take home the door prize: a DVD of the movie. Call 360-794-7851, ext. 4132, for more information.

Tuesday

Lynnwood Library: DIY: Gadget cases from 4 to 5:15 p.m. A craft class for teens. Make your own soft cases. Call 425-778-2148 for more information.

Stanwood Library: DIY Zone: Make your own 'zine begins at 3:30 p.m. Arts and craft projects for grades five through eight. Registration required at 360-629-3132 or online at www.sno-isle.org.

Wednesday

Edmonds Library: "Snow White and the Huntsman" from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Movie for teens with free snacks and a DVD door prize. Call 425-771-1933 for more information.

Marysville Library: "Brave" begins at 6:30 p.m. The family movie night includes snacks and drinks. 360-658-5000.

Friday

Brier Library: Black Friday Craftacular from 1 to 3 p.m. Crafts for the whole family. Call 425-483-0888 for more information.

Mill Creek Library: Black Friday Craftacular from 2 to 4 p.m. Sixth- to 12th-graders can create duct tape wallets, buttons, jewelry and holiday cards. Call 425-337-4822 for more information.
