LYNNWOOD -- A police pursuit that began in the Lynnwood area early Tuesday morning ended when the suspect crashed his motorcycle near Cathcart.

No serious injuries were reported, Snohomish County sheriff's spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.

The pursuit began about 2:15 a.m. near the intersection of 164th Street SW and Highway 99, she said. It wound around that part of the county before the motorcycle crashed near the intersection of 164th Street SE and Highway 9, about 10 miles away.

The motorcyclist, who was in his early 30s, was taken to a local hospital before being booked into Snohomish County Jail.
