LYNNWOOD — Lynnwood freshman Mikayla Pivec grabbed 28 rebounds to go along with 18 points and six assists as the Royals beat Mountlake Terrace in a nonleague contest.
“Pivec was like Dennis Rodman out there, so that’s her new nickname,” Lynnwood head coach Everett Edwards said. “She was very aggressive and tenacious on both the offensive and defensive glass.”
Jasmin Edwards led the Royals in scoring with 26 and also had six steals. Taylor Smith had 17 points for the Hawks.
