Report: Richard Sherman appeal set for next week; no date yet on Browner's

The Seahawks got the big road win they've been looking for, beating the Bears Sunday in an overtime thriller. Now they're waiting to find out if they'll have their top two cornerbacks for the stretch run as they battle for a playoff spot, or maybe even an NFC West title.

Richard Sherman and Brandon Browner both face four-game suspensions for violating the NFL's policy on performance enhancing substances, but because they are appealing, they were both on the field in Chicago. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, no date has been set for Browner's appeal, but Sherman's has been scheduled for Dec. 14, which means Sherman will definitely play again this weekend against Arizona. And unless a date is quickly set for this week for Browner, he'll be playing too. That's good news in the short term for the Seahawks, but it does mean that if Browner and Sherman lose their appeals, the suspension would now carry over into the postseason, or into next season if Seattle doesn't make the playoffs.
