MACHIAS A woman found dead in the Machias area Tuesday night is believed to be the victim of a hit-and-run collision.
The body was spotted about 5:15 p.m. along Dubuque Road, south of Lake Stevens, Snohomish County sheriffs spokeswoman Shari Ireton said.
