Everett | Girls basketball
The Seagulls forward scored 31 points against Mariner and 20 in a win over Cascade as Everett swept its Everett rivals to start the season 2-0.
Jesse Peterson
Lake Stevens | Wrestling
The Vikings grappler pinned Tahoma Justin Weiding in the second-to-last match to give Lake Stevens a lead it wouldn't relinquish in a win over defending state champ Tahoma Saturday. Peterson also pinned Keith Long in a win over Rogers.
