Front Porch: Everett court closed Friday, Monday

Court closed 2 days
The Everett Municipal Court will be closed for business today and Monday so employees can move into the new court building located at the same site, 3028 Wetmore Ave. in downtown Everett.
The Municipal Court will open again at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

CPR class in Monroe: Valley General Hospital in Monroe will hold a CPR class from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 15 in the Godard Room on the campus at 14701 179th Ave. SE.
The course covers all ages, from birth through adult years, and uses manikins for training. Certification following completion of the course is valid for two years.
Cost is $48. Register with Collette Reams at collette@valleygeneral.com or 360-805-6316.

Crime victim rememberance Sunday in Everett: Families and Friends of Violent Crime Victims invites the community to a candlelight rememberance ceremony for people who have lost loved ones to violence. Everyone is welcome to bring stories, poems and pictures.
The event is planned for 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Everett Firefighters Hall, 2411 Hewitt Ave.
Participants are encouraged to bring a dish to share for a potluck.
Anyone who wants their loved ones photo to be included in a slide show is asked to call 425-252-6081 or send an email to velvet@fnfvcv.org.
