Detectives from the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office are seeking help finding two people who have been reported missing in recent weeks.

Joanne E. Kay, 74, has been missing since Nov. 16 after leaving Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington. Her family believes she left the hospital either on foot or by taxi cab. She has not returned to her home or contacted any friends.

Kay has been without a purse, vehicle or cellphone since that day.

Investigators believe she may be in Arlington, Stanwood or Camano Island.

Kay is 5-foot-3 and weighs 110 pounds. She has thin gray hair and often wears a wig and jewelry with large stones.

Mark Acord, 56, has been missing since Dec. 1. Investigators have found evidence he may have been near the Stillaguamish River in the Granite Falls area.

Acord is 5-foot-10 and weighs 150 pounds. He has gray hair, blue eyes and has multiple tattoos on his back, chest and arms.

Anyone who has seen or has information about either missing person is asked to call the Snohomish County Sheriff's Office tip line at 425-388-3845.
