OLYMPIA -- An Olympia bar known for allowing patrons to smoke cigarettes for an annual fee has announced it's also welcoming marijuana smokers.

KING 5 reported that Frank Schnarrs has battled state regulators and won over allowing smoking customers access to a closed-in area more than 25 feet from the entrances to his downstairs bar. Customers pay $10 a year for access to the "Friends of Frankie" room.

Schnarrs now says he's welcoming marijuana smoking at the room. He said it will bring new revenue to his business.

Olympia City Manager Steve Hall said the city is not sure what, if any, action will be taken against Frankie's, saying the law is unclear.
