Everett aerospace firm sold to Zodiac of France

Everett-based Northwest Aerospace Technologies is being sold to Zodiac Aerospace of France, the buyer said Monday. Terms were not disclosed.

Northwest Aerospace Technologies, also known as NAT, employs 160 people, including about 100 engineers. The firm offers engineering services and interior retrofitting, helping airlines swap out jet seats. NAT also provides Federal Aviation Administration certification services to airlines.

Zodiac, which employs 26,000 people worldwide, owns several aerospace companies in Washington, including aircraft interiors supplier C&D Zodiac of Marysville. It also owns Monogram Systems in Everett, IDD Aerospace in Redmond and Heath Tecna of Bellingham.
