Vote for Boys Basketball Player of the Week


Eds. note: The Herald's Basketball Player of the Week is tallied by combining the winner of the fan voting along with votes by Herald staffers who attended games last week. Voting ends at 9 p.m. tonight.

Here's a look at the nominees:


Brock VandenEkart, Sultan: The Turks scored 13 of his game-high 33 points in the fourth quarter as Sultan beat rival Granite Falls.

Phil Hoban, Archbishop Murphy: The Wildcats forward knocked down the game-winning shot with two seconds remaining and finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Lakewood.

Marquis Armstead, Mountlake Terrace: The Hawks guard scored 19 points in a league win over Meadowdale and had a game-high 27 points in a one-point loss to Lincoln.

Zach Pederson, Glacier Peak: The Grizzlies post had a game-high 32 points in a win over Kamiak and 19 in a win over Squalicum.

Gavin Smoke, Arlington: The Eagles guard scored 10 of his 13 points to spark an Arlington come-from-behind win over rival Stanwood.

Terry Eun, Cedar Park Christian-MLT: The Lions guard averaged nearly 20 points per game in three wins last week to keep CPC-MLT unbeaten.

Elijah Jordan, Marysville Getchell: The Chargers guard scored a game-high 22 points in a win over crosstown rival Marysville Pilchuck.

Andrew Roozen, Mount Vernon: The Bulldogs post scored 21 points in a win over Marysville Getchell and had 22 in MV's first Wesco win over Snohomish.
