Time to party
Register your kids for a party on the evening of New Year’s Eve at Imagine Children’s Museum at 1502 Wall Street, Everett.
The evening starts at 6 p.m. and features a DJ, a magician and a New Year’s Eve Ball that drops at the end of the party at 9 p.m.
Advance tickets can be purchased online at www.imaginecm.org/newyearseveparties.html or at the museum.
The cost is $10 per person for members and $15 for nonmembers.
At the door tickets, space permitting, are $15 for members and $20 for nonmembers.
A popular five-week course on beekeeping will start Jan. 7 in south Everett, and will repeat starting Feb. 25.
The apprentice-level Master Beekeeping Program gives an introduction to beekeeping for novices and a comprehensive refresher for more experienced apiculturists. The course is offered by Washington State University Snohomish County Extension and Beez Neez Apiary Supply.
Classes will be held from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Mondays at the WSU Extension’s Cougar Auditorium, located in Snohomish County’s McCollum Park at 600 128th St. SE, Everett.
