SPOKANE -- The picnic table pranksters are still stacking up tables in Spokane parks.
But it was no picnic for city workers who responded on Christmas and worked Wednesday to move dangerous or damaged tables.
It started last summer when picnic tables at Riverfront and Manito parks were stacked into pyramids as high as 30 feet. Workers had to bring in lift equipment to safely take them down.
On Christmas Eve someone stacked tables at Riverfront Park and decorated them with tinsel. They collapsed overnight and some were broken.
KREM reported more tables were stacked in a pyramid Wednesday in a Manito Park shelter.
