Locals to play for Team Washington in Tanoa Bowl


The Tanoa Bowl Classic, which pits some of the best football players from Washington, Oregon, Utah and Alaska against each other, will be a doubleheader at Auburn Memorial Stadium on Saturday.

A number of local players will play for the Washington team, including Meadowdale CB Morgan Masanda and Lakewood athlete Justin Peterson. Other locals include: WR/DB Keelan Degamo (Mariner) and linemen Jeremy Gomez (Meadowdale) and Nate Cloud (Meadowdale).

Here's a look at the schedule:

Game 1: 8th Grade All-Stars at noon

Game 2: Team Oregon All-Stars vs. Team Alaska All-Stars, 2:45 p.m.

Game 3: Team Washington All-Stars vs. Team Utah All-Stars, 5:30 p.m.
