Terrace boys, Jackson girls playing in King Showcase

The Mountlake Terrace boys and Jackson girls will get a serious challenge in this year's King Showcase at the Showare Center in Kent on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The Hawks play Fairfax H.S. out of Los Angeles at 2:30 p.m. The Lions are 7-6 and ranked 116th in the state of California boys basketball poll. Jackson faces Kentwood, which is 5-2 this season.

One game that should be interesting ins the Mount Rainier vs. Oregon City matchup, which pits the 10-0 Rams against the 10-1 Pioneers from Oregon City.

Here's a look the entire schedule:

10 a.m. GIRLS Kentwood vs. Jackson

11:30 a.m. BOYS Foss vs. Columbia River

1 p.m. GIRLS Mount Rainier vs. Oregon City (Ore.)

2:30 p.m. BOYS Mountlake Terrace vs. Fairfax (Calif.)

4 p.m. BOYS Kennedy vs. Benson (Ore.)

5:30 p.m. MLK Tribute

6 p.m. BOYS Decatur vs. Federal Way

7:30 p.m. BOYS Kent-Meridian vs. Kentridge
