OAK HARBOR -- An Oak Harbor man died Wednesday night after being struck by a truck along Highway 20 north of town.

Jesus M. Herrera, 60, was hit about 6 p.m. by the truck's side mirror. He was crossing the highway at the time, according to a Washington State Patrol memo.

The truck's driver, a 39-year-old Tacoma man, was unhurt.
