Did you get a new eReader, tablet or smartphone for Christmas? The Everett Public Library is offering two classes Saturday to show you how to download free eBooks using the library’s OverDrive service.
The session at the main Everett library, 2702 Hoyt Ave., goes from 10 a.m. to noon. The afternoon class, from 2 to 4 p.m. will be held at the Evergreen Branch, 9512 Evergreen Way.
You can see a list of compatible devices at www.overdrive.com/resources/drc.
You can check out 10 titles at a time (eBooks and audio combined) for seven, 14 or 21 days. You also can put titles on hold. You will be notifed by email when the title becomes available to you.
The events are free and open to the public, but you must have a valid Everett Public Library card to check out eBooks.
