Police believe 3 Everett robberies may be linked
EVERETT -- One man might be responsible for a three-course robbery spree in south Everett this past weekend.
A Baskin-Robbins restaurant, an espresso stand and a Subway shop all were robbed in about a 36-hour period, Everett police Capt. Bill Deckard said.
The descriptions of the suspects in all three robberies were similar, but Major Crimes detectives still are early in their investigation, he said.
The first robbery was reported at 12:45 p.m. Saturday at the Baskin-Robbins at 5802 Evergreen Way.

A man entered the shop, showed a small black handgun and demanded cash, Deckard said. The man ran southbound with the money.
The robber was described as Hispanic, in his early 30s and about 5-foot-8. He wore a dark hooded sweatshirt, gloves, jeans and white shoes. He had a white-and-black patterned bandana over his face.
About 45 minutes later, an espresso stand in the 4700 block of Evergreen Way also was robbed, Deckard said.
It wasn't immediately clear if a weapon was involved in that holdup.
Then, just before 8 p.m. Sunday, a man entered the Subway restaurant at 10730 19th Ave. SE. He showed an employee a gun in his waistband and demanded cash.
He ran away with the money.
That robber was described as Hispanic and about 5-foot-9, 180 pounds. He wore a black hat and dark blue jacket, with a white-and-black bandana over his face. He ran from the scene.
No injuries were reported in the robberies. Police dogs were called out in each case without success, Deckard said.
Investigators this week were checking businesses and homes around the robbery scenes to look for any surveillance video that might show a suspect, he said.
There were no significant updates in the cases as of Wednesday, Sgt. Ryan Dalberg said.
