Snow and slick roads delayed classes by two hours this morning in the Monroe, Sultan and Index school districts.

The National Weather Service in Seattle reported that spotty snow accumulations of up to an inch are possible from Everett to Mount Vernon in Skagit County.

Drier air is expected to move in from the north by this afternoon.

The forecast calls for high temperatures between the mid 30s to low 40s, the weather service reported.
