EVERETT -- Damage to an Everett auto repair shop was estimated at $15,000 after a Saturday evening fire, officials said.

Firefighters responded to a report of a fire in the back room of the business in the 10100 block of Fourth Avenue W. The fire was reported around 5 p.m.

Crews found fire coming from a leak in a propane tank inside the building, Everett fire marshal Rick Robinson said. They extinguished the fire and removed the propane tanks.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, Robinson said.

No one was injured.
