Mueller racking up the frequent flyer miles

Everett defenseman Mirco Mueller is on the move again. Mueller just returned from Russia last week after playing for Switzerland at the World Junior Hockey Championships. He was back in Everett just long enough to play in two games before he was back in the air, this time flying to Halifax, Nova Scotia, for Wednesday's CHL Top Prospects Game. Mueller will miss Tuesday's home game against Tri-City, but will be back in time for the weekend's three-in-three.

Winger Dawson Leedahl won't be playing Tuesday, either, but he's nearing a return. Leedahl, who hasn't played since Dec. 11 because of a knee injury, has rejoined practice, though he's wearing a no-contact jersey. Everett general manager Garry Davidson said Leedahl was ahead of schedule with his recovery and could be ready to return by next week.
