Four Tips crack CCS midterm rankings

Four Everett players were among those mentioned in the NHL Central Scouting Service's midterm rankings for this year's NHL draft.

Among the 214 North American skaters listed, defenseman Mirco Mueller was ranked 12th, defenseman Ayrton Nikkel was ranked 155th, and defenseman Austin Adam was ranked 195th. Also, Austin Lotz was ranked 11th among North American goaltenders.

Mueller's ranking indicates his stock continues to rise. His ranking puts him fifth among WHL skaters, and the 12th-overall ranking suggests he's a late first rounder.

Oh, by the way, a certain former Everett prospect named Seth Jones was ranked No. 1. And former Tips winger Trent Lofthouse was ranked 165th.
