BOTHELL — A man police believe is responsible for 20 armed robberies from Renton to Everett may have struck a Bothell espresso stand Saturday.
The robbery occurred around 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Big Foot Java, 18115 Highway 522.
He walked up to the drive-through window, showed a black handgun and demanded money from the till.
The short, stocky suspect was described as a white or Hispanic man who’s believed to be 23 to 27 years old.
The suspect wore a dark stocking-type hat with a gray hooded sweatshirt pulled up over his head and a black and white bandana concealing the lower portion of his face. He wore light-colored gloves and jeans.
Bothell police believe the suspect left the scene in a getaway vehicle and may not be working alone.
The suspect’s description is consistent with a robber wanted in nearly 20 holdups from Renton to Everett since Oct. 21.
