Police haven't given up on search for Marysville coach
Evidence suggests Boyle voluntarily left his home around 4:30 a.m. on Nov. 4. That was the day after he was stopped for a driving offense, Marysville police Cmdr. Robb Lamoureux said.
"It is believed he was distraught at the time he left home," Lamoureux said. "He has not been seen or heard from since."
Boyle was driving his red 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. The Washington license plate number is 169WNT. The car has not been found.
Foul play is not suspected, Lamoureux said.
There has been community-wide concern, Lamoureux said. Boyle is an assistant girls' basketball coach at Marysville Pilchuck High School and was active in the football and baseball programs at both the high school and middle school levels.
Boyle, 48, grew up in Everett and has lived in Marysville for nearly two decades.
He is described as white, 6 feet tall and weighing about 180 pounds. He has blue eyes and gray hair.
