The Chargers guard scored 33 points in a win over crosstown rival Marysville Pilchuck and also had 17 in a win over Shorecrest as the Chargers tied Oak Harbor for second place in the 3A North.

The Spartans post scored 10 points, had four assists and four steals in a win over Meadowdale and also had 14 and 10 points in wins over Oak Harbor and Arlington, respectively, as the Spartans went 3-0 and locked up a 3A North title
Counting the votes: Archbishop Murphy’s Madison Pollock won the fan vote. Swaney and Krueger voted for Swartz and Lommers and Myhre voted for Shorewood’s Masha Shtikel. Swartz was the winner based on her receiving more votes than Shtikel in the fan poll.

The Wildcats heavyweight pinned Stanwood’s Josh Smith 1 minute, 38 seconds into their 285-pound match as Oak Harbor handed the Spartans their first loss of the season and catapulted Oak Harbor into first place in the Wesco 3A North standings.

Shorewood | Boys swimming
The Thunderbirds swimmer won the 50-yard freestyle in state-qualifying time and was a key component on the winning 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays as Shorewood edged out crosstown rival Shorecrest 89-87.
