EVERETT -- Police are investigating a robbery reported Monday night south of Everett.

At about 5:30 p.m., a man entered the Baskin-Robbins restaurant at 12822 Mukilteo Speedway, just outside Everett city limits.

The man took money from the cash register and left in a dark-colored truck, Snohomish County sheriff's spokeswoman Shari Ireton said. Investigators don't believe he displayed a weapon.

No injuries were reported.

Police searched the area but did not find a suspect, Ireton said. They were working Monday night to obtain any surveillance video that might show what happened.

The man was wearing a black jacket with a hoodie-style sweatshirt and a black mask.

Investigators don't believe the man is connected to a trio of recent restaurant robberies in Everett.

Anyone with information should call police at 425-388-3845.
