Fire union responds to budget cuts

Fire District 1's union leadership released a statement Wednesday regarding recent staffing changes and budget cuts at the fire district. (See story here.)

The statement is part of a new effort by the union to communicate directly with people in its service area, President Scott Hamilton told The Herald on Wednesday.

They'll likely be making some noise in the next few weeks.

You can read the statement in the attached PDF to the right.
