Prep boys basketball: Arlington 65, Mount Vernon 62

MOUNT VERNON -- Noah Jones and Terry Dawn each scored 19 points as Arlington concluded the regular season with a victory over the Bulldogs. The Eagles, the Wesco 4A North champions, host Mariner in the first round of the 4A district tournament. Kevin Hofstad and Casey Leek had 16 points for Mount Vernon, which will start its postseason against Kamiak at home. Both games are scheduled for Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
