The Seattle Mariners announced Friday they have agreed to contract terms with 10 players, including third baseman Kyle Seager and first baseman Justin Smoak.

The team also came to terms with pitchers Blake Beavan, Lucas Luetge and Chance Ruffin, infielder Francisco Martinez, and outfielders Julio Morban, Carlos Peguero, Eric Thames and Casper Wells.

Seager hit .259 last season and led the team in both home runs (20) and RBI (86). Smoak batted .217, with 19 home runs and 51 RBI.

The Mariners have reached contract terms with 24 of the 40 players on their 40-man roster. All 40 players will be signed or their contracts renewed by March 11, the team said in a press release.

Pitchers and catchers report to spring training in Peoria, Ariz., on Feb. 12. The first workout is scheduled for the following day. The first full-squad workout is Feb. 16.
