Fallen idle

Fallen idle

Here's something we bet you didn't know was illegal: starting your car on a cold morning and letting it warm up in the driveway while you go back inside for another cup of coffee.

The law can be found in RCW 46.61.600, also known as the Ya Shoulda Gone for the Heated Seats Option, Ya Dummy Act.

Royal pain: When Prince Willem-Alexander and his Argentina-born wife, Maxima, ascend to the Dutch throne in April, there will be a glaring absence at the ceremony: Maxima's father, Jorge Zorreguieta, who was a key figure during Argentina's 1976-1983 military dictatorship.

It's unclear whether the guy played any role in the "disappearing" of political dissidents. Also unknown is why he named his daughter after a midsize entry-level luxury sedan.

Electrifying performance: Super Bowl XLXLIXLX on Sunday was delayed early in the third quarter after the power failed in the Superdome in New Orleans.

The outage lasted 34 minutes, which was how long it took technicians to locate halftime entertainer Beyonce and plug her into the power grid.
