EVERETT — A death investigation was under way in Everett on Tuesday after a woman’s body was found outdoors.

The body was found about 8 a.m. in the 4300 block of Colby Avenue, said Everett police officer Aaron Snell. That’s near Evergreen Cemetery and the Interurban Trail.

Detectives were in the early phase of their investigation, but there were no immediate signs of foul play, Snell said.

The woman’s body was taken to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office to confirm her identity and determine how she died.
