Prep girls basketball: Arlington 49, Kamiak 35

ARLINGTON -- Lindsay Brown had 11 points and 10 rebounds and Veronica Ladines totaled 11 rebounds, seven steals and three blocks to help Arlington win its opening-round game at the 4A District Tournament. Aubrey Patrick scored 11 points for Kamiak. The Eagles advance to play Snohomish in a winner-to-regionals game on Feb. 9 at 8:00 p.m. at Mountlake Terrace High School. Kamiak will be traveling to Jackson to play a loser-out game on Feb. 9 at 2:00 p.m.
