LYNNWOOD -- Police in Lynnwood are asking for help in identifying two teens who attacked a soccer coach Wednesday afternoon outside of Meadowdale High School.

The victim, a Seattle man, 53, coaches a soccer team not associated with the Edmonds School District. He was at the school with his teenage daughter waiting for other team members when three boys, unknown to them, walked by, Lynnwood police spokeswoman Shannon Sessions said.

The boys "made some deplorable comments to the coach about his daughter," Sessions said in a press release.

Two of three boys assaulted the coach. The daughter was unharmed. All three suspects ran away.

Other team members arrived and called 911.

The coach suffered multiple bruises and abrasions to his face, but declined medical attention.

One suspect was described as being 15 to 17 years of age with shaggy blond hair. He's about 5-foot-10 and weighs about 160 pounds.

The other attacker was about the same height and had darker skin with angular features and short hair.

Anyone with information should call Lynnwood police detectives at 425-670-5669.
