Prep boys basketball: Oak Harbor 47, Shorecrest 46

OAK HARBOR -- Oak Harbor led early and managed to hold on for a win in the consolation semifinals of the 3A Boys District Basketball Tournament. Scoring by the Wildcats was evenly distributed with Jamacio Webster, Chris Hailer and Drew Washington topping the list with 10 each. Connor Hyppa paced the Scots with 13 and had three 3-pointers.

The Scots, after trailing 13-2, battled back to within two after three quarters. They stayed close in the fourth but fell one shy of continuing their playoff run.

Oak Harbor moves on to play Glacier Peak 6 p.m. on Saturday at Jackson H.S. in the consolation finals. The winner will claim the tournament's final regionals berth.
