The Spartans junior guard scored 17 points, including a key layin late in the game, as Stanwood avenged an early season loss to Mountlake Terrace with a 47-43 win for the 3A District 1 championship.

Lynnwood | Girls basketball
The Royals' sister tandem scored 35 of their team's 61 points as Lynnwood beat Arlington 61-49 to win the 4A girls district championship. Jordyn hit three 3-pointers in a row after the Eagles closed the gap to 47-43 and Jasmin score nine of her 16 points in the second half.
Michael and Eric Soler
Lake Stevens | Boys wrestling
Both Soler brothers won individual state championships, Michael at 106 and Eric at 145, to lead the Vikings to their fifth state title in seven years.
Alec Barnard
Archbishop Murphy | Boys swim
The Wildcats swimmer won the 50-yard freestyle and the 100-yard butterfly and led the Wildcats 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay teams to victories to help the Murphy boys swim team win its first state team championship.
Danielle Crawford
Granite Falls | Girls wrestling
The Tigers 106-pounder won three matches at Mat Classic XXV to take home seventh place.
