Ivan & Alyosha album release will be a hot ticket

This Saturday night, Seattle band Ivan &Alyosha is celebrating the release of their new album, “All The Times We Had” with a show at the Showbox At The Market. They will be joined by Kris Orlowski playing with the Passenger String Quartet and Smokey Brights, making this one very impressive hometown bill and probably the hottest ticket around this weekend.

There is a lot of buzz around Ivan &Alyosha right now and their new album is getting national attention. You can hear all of “All The Times We Had” over at NPR First Listen right now, and really is worth a listen since it sounds completely gorgeous from start to finish.

As if Ivan &Alyosha weren’t reason enough to get a ticket, Kris Orlowski and Smokey Brights will be rounding out the lineup. I really try to see Kris play any chance I get, and this Saturday he will be backed by the Passenger String Quartet, which is really impressive to watch and beautiful to listen to. I just had the chance to see Smokey Brights play for the first time a couple weeks back and couldn’t have been happier with their performance and am excited to see them at this show.

Tickets can be purchased here for $12 (+ an absurd 45% service fee?) and you can watch the video for Ivan &Alyosha’s first single from the new album “Running For Cover” below.
